TEAM REGULATIONS AND PRACTICE REQUIREMENTS
1. PRACTICE REQUIREMENTS
- Practices are held at two different times, Monday through Friday.
- Swimmers are required to attend a minimum of 4 practices per week, involving at
least 3 days.
- Three of these practices need to be between Monday and Thursday.
- MORE THAN 4 WEEKLY PRACTICES ARE ENCOURAGED!
- Illness, vacation, work schedules or other valid excuses are to be considered.
- Written excuses are encouraged and can be turned in to a group coach.
- There will be a check-in sheet at the pool each practice for attendance.
- It will be the swimmers’ responsibility to check in with their group coach at each
practice.
- Failure to attend at least 4 practices as stated above may result in that swimmer
not being allowed to participate in that weekend's dual meet.
- Swimmers without 4 practices in, but with excused absences or illnesses, will swim
as swimming slots become available.
2. EVENTS
- Coaches will determine what events swimmers will participate in at meets based
on swimmer preference.
- Every effort will be made to swim all eligible swimmers at every dual meet – 4

3. POOL REGULATION
- Upon arrival for practice, swimmers will take a seat in the bleachers and must
stay out of the pool until a coach says they may enter.
4. WEATHER

temperature is low or it is only raining, practices may be moved to the indoor pool.
5. COMMUNITY REPRESENTATION
